For over 35 years, California DanceArts, directed by Aerin Holt, has been the premiere ballet school of La Canada Flintridge and the home to resident Company, California Contemporary Ballet.

OUR COMPANY

California Contemporary Ballet (CCB), is the resident company at California DanceArts.

CCBallet is one of Southern California’s burgeoning dance companies featuring a unique choreographic blend of classical, contemporary and theatrical dance works. The professional company consists of athletic ballet & contemporary dancers, modern dancers, gymnasts and aerialists who deliver powerful, emotional performances.

California Contemporary Ballet seeks to increase dance awareness and endow our artists with opportunities to engage our audiences in the creativity, imagination and joy of dance.

In an effort to encourage young dancers as they pursue a career in dance, CCBallet continues to establish a youth division within its organization. Combined with the performance opportunities, rehearsals and experience that is provided by CCYBallet, it closely replicates a professional dance company experience.
